Rishi Kapoor dies at 67

Rishi Kapoor, who was born in Chembur, Bombay in a Punjabi family,  as Rishi Raj Kapoor dies at the age of 67. He was fighting with cancer for the last two years. He has taken his last breath at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai.

Rishi Kapoor is the second son of actor-film director Raj Kapoor and Father of Ranveer Kapoor. He debuted in “Mera Naam Joker” (1970) in which he played the childhood role of his father. He's one of the memorable movies, is “Bobby” in which he played role opposite to  Dimple Kapadia. This film also received a Filmfare award for the best actor in 1974.

He played the romantic roles in 92 films between 1973 to 2000 and 36 were box office hits. From this people can understand how he was famous in his era as a romantic actor. His last film was “102 Not Out” was a comedy-drama film, in which he worked with Amitabh Bachchan after 27 years. When Mr. Amitabh Bachchan got the news, he reacted and I quote,

"He's GONE ..! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !"

Rishi Kapoor was never afraid to give his opinion. Recently many times he tweets on many controversial issues. He will always be remembered.  

India lost his favorite son. RIP Rishi Kapoor. 🙏🙏
