Attacks on Health Workers and Asymptomatic corona cases

Tuesday, Indian council of medical research (ICMR) head of epidemiology and communicable diseases Dr. R R Gangakhedkar said that 69% of corona positive cases are asymptomatic [patient do not persist any symptoms related to disease] and 31% of cases are symptomatic. He also added that one of the studies also suggests that 80% of total cases are asymptomatic.

This means many people around us may have coronavirus carriers, but they do not know, and neither we know. And it is more dangerous as they will not approach doctors for testing and people around them may not consider social distancing necessary for such people.

In such cases people who have coronavirus, but symptoms are not visible mainly because of the strong immunity system of their body which able to resist against the virus as most of them are found very healthy, and such people are the largest spreader of this disease. Yesterday, the Delhi government also has raised concerns about this because out of 186 cases tested corona positive and all of them are asymptomatic. So, if the government want to find all spreader of coronavirus, then they must test all citizens at list in hotspot areas. [By looking large population of the country and limited resources it looks a very difficult task for the government with some faulty testing kits received by china. Though many Indian companies claimed to develop indigenous testing kits in media. But still, we are buying testing kits from china).

These asymptomatic patients are healthy and as their body is resisting viruses efficiently, they may be safe, but it may possible that some ill or people whose immunity system is not strong people may encounter such carriers and get affected by the virus. So only possible way looks effective against viruses in such a pandemic situation is social distancing. Even the person looks healthy still, we should maintain social distancing, regularly wash hands, and maintain minimum exposer of the outer world.

Some side effects also coming of such cases, because a person who might contain a virus inside the body and is tested positive of the coronavirus, he may get some negative thought of doctors and quarantine centers and medicines.

This definitely happening in one particular community and they are hiding and resisting from health workers and police instead of supporting them. Some of them are brainwashed by saying that it is a conspiracy against them and their community. Some of them attach this to detention centers and NRC. The asymptomatic cases also adding belief on such rumors as many people taken for quarantine center were not ill at that time but later, they died due to coronavirus. Also, most of the cases coming are from this community [Reason is very simple when 8000 to 9000 people gathered in one building in Delhi, where many were foreigners also present and had corona disease. Later they traveled all over India and as they all belong to one community, they spread disease in those peoples] One more thing which initially adds feared in this community is, after the death of corona patient who looks very healthy when it was taken to quarantine center but later maybe body also not received by the family in some cases which raise their concern about this.] Many are also trying to escape from quarantine centers and run away.

People like Suzanna Arundhati Roy [ As per Wikipedia she is an author and got jailed for her statements in past] tried to give a different angle of such case which belongs to a particular community. As per her interview with DW, Government using this pandemic to suppress a particular community and increase hate against this minority community in the majority similarly Nazi government had used to do in the holocaust. According to Arundhati Roy, the government of India not giving proper treatment to this community and also arresting people, who earlier protested against CAA and NRC. But the truth is they do not support health workers and splitting into doctors and policemen. Their behavior is also not appropriate for women doctors and health workers. Dr. Subramanian Swamy who is a member of parliament said that Arundhati Roy should be arrested immediately under the ambit of national security. The person with such mentality is an actual thread of the nation as they never understand how their one irresponsible statement can cause huge to the nation.

Corona is a very serious problem and is a silent killer and never knows when this enemy hits us. Also, influential people belonging to a particular community should come forward and educate people about their doubts and guide them to protect themselves.
